Advanced Air Show support package with FM re-broadcast capability and 5.7 GHz wireless sound distribution

  • Announcer/Audio Trailer is a 38 foot Gooseneck tri-Axle show trailer with safe roof access for Announcer/Airboss, generator power with auto UPS on critical systems,  secondary portable backup GenSet standard.  Media and major performer audio program connections Master audio program control board with Aircraft radio, CD and MPEG music source input.

  • Communications - Satellite Internet to support event staff operations and provide emergency backup services.  Includes VoIP Phone system and complete VHF/UHF aircraft radio interconnect and rebroadcast plus commercial UHF/VHF two-way radio communications with interoperability solution. Satellite weather map access. Trailer comes with 20 UHF handheld commercial ICOM radios and a UHF Repeater for event staff coordination.  Ten wireless headsets for the Show Trailer staff and guests combat feedback and echo producing speakers near the announcer.  60 additions wireless headsets are available for rental or VIP use.

  • We can supply additional rental VHF/UHF two way radios as may be needed.

  • Limited use of long hard wire speaker runs that can be damaged and cause complications to install.

  • Audience fence line PODS with satellite speakers that can support 500 to 1000  feet plus of crowd audio coverage, are self contained and connect by wireless link

  • In-House 22' and 50' Speaker mast and tower support systems provide superior coverage at reasonable cost (we own not rent)

  • Many key components and sub-systems are connected by our ShowNetTM 5.7 GHz Microwave radio system, allowing easy and better placement of speakers  5.7 GHz provides limited risk of interference seen on low frequency bands used in the past.  We can deploy a true portable broadband network on the site allowing use of many other technologies to be deployed as needed to include Internet, Radio over IP, VoIP, Data for ID scanners, Credit Card terminals, access control and Emergency call boxes.

  • Additional behind the line high fidelity wireless self contained speaker PODS improve the quality and coverage deeper into the crowds and into public areas.

  • 6- CCTV cameras (4 fixed and 2 Pant/Tilt) are part of the base package (additional available) that can be accessed by event staff providing show staging and security views not available at most shows.  It can improve announcers timing, safety and speeds show performance.  Security of key locations can be monitored.

  • VoIP Phone system (includes 35 phone) provides phone service to locations not wired by current base systems and gives private and secure communications between key locations, includes crash phone hotline (hoot and holler group) as well as backing up and reducing overload of radio or current base phone systems.

  • All key components and systems have mission critical status and as such have hot standby or immediate replacement backups by our onsite staff.

  • System has greater than 90% power back-up in the event of an area wide power failure allowing emergency directions to be announced to spectators as needed.  System provides levels of self healing and manual redundancy to provide the highest expectation of mission completion.

  • DCAT favors high above the crowd cluster speaker towers to provide a wider, deeper and more even audio level.  This type of system plus wireless conductivity provides superior audio quality due to it’s design and lack of interference from excessive audio cable runs.

  • ICST’s unique approach to providing the large number of scanner user at events with pre advertised FM radio rebroadcast of program audio allows them to hear quality audio in their own headsets.  Staff can also monitor announcer commentary as a way to stay in pace with events as they happen.  This same concept is provided to a spectator that wishes to bring an FM broadcast receiver like a walkman to hear quality audio in there own ear buds when within the range of the FM radio FCC part 15 transmitter sites.   One of the most common complaints after parking is poor audio or not being able to hear the PA system.  Include this feature in your promotional releases.

  • We use quality speakers ranging from 60 watt projection horns to our main stay 200 and 400 watts dual stage type outdoor speaker cabinets for greater coverage and quality of sound that can cover over 3500 feet of show line.

  • Our systems wireless design allows for flexible placement of PA system speakers and connection to other existing PA system and placement of mini systems to cover indoor areas or VIP tenting.  We also have rental radio receiver headsets that you can rent or provide to your VIP area guests for a reasonable fee

  • Media program links can provide Internet audio connection for program re-broadcast on local AM/FM stations.

  • Staff has over 90 years combined experience in special event, large venue sound and communications.  DCAT is familiar with interfacing requirements for support teams from shows like the Thunderbirds and is equipped to connect to there PA system if needed.
